As little children, ancient Egypt fascinated us in an inexplicable way: the pyramids, the Nile, the wonderful temples, and all the imposing statues. The mysterious and magical culture that excisted more than 4,000 years before us and who has left us such a remarkable cultural legacy filled with knowledge and spiritual wisdom. On several trips to the land of the pharaohs, our enthusiasm grew steadily and when we first started discussing collaborating on an oracle deck project together, we both quickly realized that it should be an Egyptian themed deck. We immediately agreed on it and it was very important to both of us to design the cards according to the ancient templates. Months of research went into this deck to portray the deities, gods, pharaohs, monuments, artifacts, and symbols featured in this deck as historically accurate as possible. While Nils studied the comprehensive history to write the in-depth guidebook, Nadine studied countless art and hieroglyphic references of well-known Egyptologists such as ￉mile Prisse D'Avennes, Sir Alan Gardiner, L￩on-Jean-Joseph Dubois, and many more.

We aspire to be correct with our depiction of the gods and goddesses of ancient Egypt; their names, appearances, roles, origins, natural and supernatural abilities, and the classic interpretations mixed in with our own Divine interpretations.
